Social science
The social science department offers a broad range of contemporary subjects across all years of high school.
In geography, years 7 through to 10 students develop a strong foundation using geographic tools, identifying issues and processes for Global and Australian environments as well demonstrating active citizenship.
Year 9 and 10 commerce allows students to explore practical topics ranging from government, law, travel, running a business, finance and consumer rights.
In years 11 and 12 subjects studied include business studies, economics, geography, legal studies and work studies. In addition courses VET courses in business services and retail operations may also be offered.
