Uniform

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

• Meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation.
• Includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics.
• Is appropriate for the full range of school activities.
• Is suitable for all body shapes.

The school's uniform policy requires every student to wear full school uniform every day. The only exception to this are events organised by the school such as multi-days. Parents will always be informed of changes to the school uniform arrangements in writing a letter or Email.

Our school uniform

All items of our school uniform can be purchased from Lowes Menswear.  Lowes is located at:

Note: This is across from Burwood station and is not in Burwood Westfield.

• Year 7 to 10 wear grey crested shirt, grey shorts or trousers, junior tie, grey socks and black shoes (no white soles or additional colours on shoes).
• Year 11 and 12 wear white crested shirt, black shorts or trousers, senior tie, grey socks and black shoes.
• Extras include baseball cap, jumper, black microfibre jacket or blazer.
• Sports uniform for all years includes white polo shirt, black microfibre shorts, white socks and sport shoes.

Uniforms can be purchased in-store or online at Lowes.

Our school has a Student Assistance Scheme to assist anyone in financial difficulties as no student (or family) should be disadvantaged by uniform requirements. Confidential applications can be made using the forms available from the Administration Office, or you can speak to the Year 7 Deputy Principal.

Want to donate your old school uniforms?

We will accept current Ashfield Boys High uniform in good condition. Please drop washed uniforms to the front office.
