Thanks to all the parents who have let me know about the problem getting school shirts from Lowes Burwood at the moment. As always, I really appreciate the huge support we get from our parent community.
I have been in contact with the management of Lowes. The company has underestimated the demand for school shirts and they are out of stock in some sizes. Most shirt sizes are in stock. All other uniform items are currently in stock. The store is expecting an order to fix this in February.
Please don't worry if you are unable to get a shirt for your son by the start of school. Just send him to school in as much uniform as possible – a sport shirt is probably a good idea if possible - and write him a note. The boys, of course, will not be in any trouble for not having a school shirt as this situation is beyond the control of parents and the school.
If you are missing any uniform items can you please contact Lowes Burwood as soon as you can so they that order sufficient stock for the February delivery.
